Beginner Piano Camps

Beginner Piano Camp I

This camp is ideal for beginners ages 7-10 with no prior piano experience. A home instrument is preferred, though not a requirement. 

Students will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, keyboard geography, piano technique, and reading music notation. Activities will give students opportunities to practice independently, play in unison, and play in an ensemble. There will be a casual performance on the last day of camp that will be open to friends and family.

BPC I will be offered during these dates as long as there are at least 3 campers enrolled:

  • Jun 2-6, 1-4pm

  • Jun 16-20, 1-4pm 

  • Jul 7-11, 1-4pm

  • Jul 21-25, 1-4pm

Beginner Piano Camp II

This camp is meant to build on Beginner Piano Camp I. The format is similar to BPC I but will feature unique and more complex material while honing basic skills; therefore; registration for BPC II is open by invitation only. 

BPC I campers will be invited to continue their camp in this second week. BPC II is also open to beginners who have some prior experience. Book a free info session to determine if this camp is appropriate for your student.

BPC II will be offered during these dates as long as there are at least 3 campers enrolled:

  • Jun 9-13, 1-4pm

  • Jun 23-27, 1-4pm 

  • Jul 14-18, 1-4pm

  • Jul 28 - Aug 1, 1-4pm
